We are now offering NEW art classes and sewing classes!
Most of the Thursday workshops are of upcycled nature,
from 6:30 to 8pm, served with wine, coffee or water and snacks.
$25 per person or $40 for 2. $15 for students or groups of 4 or more.

Classes Schedule
April 25th - Beading a necklace or bracelet with Kayla our kewljewel a remix art gallery jewelry artist, using our beads and hemp.
May 2 - for the day after "May Day" Needle-Cap Arrangements, using old bottle-caps and pine needles you'll see how evolution sprouts these strange flowers when caps are thrown under a pine tree, and then we will make arrangements of them in old bottles, taught by jeanmarie.
May 9th - Silk Wall hanging, using all a remix art gallery silk supplies of a second life and the various possibilities to hang them, taught by Jeanmarie.
May 16th - Tie dye Linen scarfs, we supply everything, perfect for the summer. Taught by Jeanmarie.
May 23rd - Beading a necklace or bracelet with Kayla our kewljewel artist.
No workshop May 30th.
June 6th - Wallpaper Wallets using great looking cool fun wall paper samples and fabulous duct tape we'll make wallets and clutch bags.
June 13th - Dress a Fan, using a preexisting fan we cover the advertisement and create an elegant fan for the summer, taught by Jeanmarie.
June 20th - Beading a necklace or bracelet, with Kayla our kewljewel artist
June 27th - Create a Game night.
Be part of an elite group of people getting together to test out and create games that jeanmarieart has been collecting parts for, since 2012, we will develop them and make the rules. You can be the first to purchase a one of a kind game when we are done. Your name will also be added to the credits
NEW! Two hour Birthday Parties on Saturdays or Sundays - $120 for up to 8 people. Pick a theme and we'll make a project to match, then leave the mess with us! Great for all ages. Call for a reservation - 919-441-0972.
Sundays are "Sewing Sundays" with master tailor jeanmarie (28 yrs. exp.)
from 3 to 5pm - all supplies included!
April 28th - Shoulder Bag, Beginners, make a bag that can hold a few things and has a strap. $36.
May 5th - Silk Scarfs, Beginners, we will make a beautiful silk scarf with a rolled hem, fabric provided. $40.
May 14th - Make a bag jeanmarie's way, Advanced, chose an item of clothing, scrap jewelry and a belt now will make a bag out of them, fun! $48.
May 19th - Envelope Clutches These are just as they sound, using fabric and leather they look like envelopes when you are done. $40.
No May 26th
June2 to 30th - 5 weeks of basic alterations, Advanced, if you have garments that need any of the following alterations please bring them in to the workshop. $225. If you don't want all 5 weeks, single classes are available for $60 per day.
Week 1 - Dress slacks, jeans and skirt hems.
Week 2 - Waist adjustments for men and women's pants and skirts.
Week 3 - Sleeve hems for shirts, jackets and suit coats.
Week 4 - Replace zippers, in jeans and pants.
Week 5 - Replace coat and Invisible zippers.
The sewing workshops can have 5 people. I have 3 machines so please let me know if you have a machine to bring or not, first come first serve.
In store Sewing Machine and Surger rentals are $15 hr.
